Use & Care

To keep your Dacian™ in peak condition, follow these guidelines:

• Prevent Rust: All steel, regardless of grade, can eventually rust. Keep your knife dry and lubricated. If spotting or rust occurs, a semi-chrome metal polish can restore its finish.
• Avoid Dishwashers: Always hand wash your knife with warm water and dish soap, then dry it thoroughly. Dishwashers can cause irreversible damage not covered under warranty.
• Use Properly: Remember, knives are designed for cutting. Avoid using your knife as a pry-bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch unless it’s explicitly built for such purposes.
• Sharpen With Care: When sharpening, avoid grinding wheels and high-powered machinery that could compromise the blade.
• Maintain Screws: Occasionally check and adjust handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws using T6 and T10 Torx drivers. A small dab of releasable thread-locker can help secure screws in place.
